Spectrum started out in 1976 as a manufacturer of componentry for the New Zealand aluminium industry. The company has since grown and expanded to become a significant force in a number of diverse industries offering a range of building products and services.

In late 2014, Spectrum moved to a purpose built factory & offices in Te Rapa, Hamilton. In 2017 a second building was added to cater for the increased demand, and in 2023 following unprecedented growth the business moved to a new purpose built factory and office complex in Burbush Hamilton.
The staff at Spectrum are the greatest asset and represent the broad range of industries that we are involved in – ranging from engineers to designers, installers, skilled metal working tradesmen and more.

Although Spectrum predominantly operates 'Business to Business' our range of products are available to the market through our network of agents. Our customer base extends to all areas of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
